OUR CHURCH

“For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians 3:11

Thomas and Glenda King moved to Kings County in 1991. Their desire was to start an independent Bible-believing Baptist Church. They did not know anyone in the area; they just knew God had given them a burden for the people of Kings County. They began going door-to-door and inviting people to attend the first service, which was held on November 17, 1991. They had 38 people attend that very first service. Over the past thirty years, God has blessed, and the church has seen a cumulative total of over 80,000 people attend since with a high attendance of almost 400 in November of 2006.

The ministries of the church have grown to include Sunday School with a Bible class for every age group, and 4 adult Bible classes, an active youth group, active outreach program, music ministry, SPLAT for children age 2 through 6th grade, H.O.P.E (an addictions recovery program), and a bus ministry that brings people to church from Hanford, Armona, and Lemoore. The church also has a K-8th grade private Christian school.
